Blueprint Surveys carry out two key elements for a variety of Clients.

Topographic Surveys and Measured Building Surveys

Using handheld PC’s and Laser Meters, Blueprint Surveys are able to gather site measurements, drawing and therefore checking as we go, prior to leaving site.

Measured Building Surveys encompass the need of a particular Project and can include Floor Plans, Elevations and Sections.

The specification of the Project can range from a basic floor plan and elevations for a feasibility study through to a comprehensive set of drawings to include full annotation, electrical sockets etc.

Blueprint Surveys have prepared floor plans for the following, but not limited to:

• Marketing
• EPC assessments
• Land Registry compliant Lease plans
• Plans prior to Extension and refurbishment work
• As built – once the proposed work has been carried out
• Warehouse Distribution Centres
• Office and Industrial Units
• Residential

If the Project dictates the need for Survey Control, either Semi or Total, we can incorporate our Total Station into the survey.

The Total Station enables measurement to be obtained that are otherwise inaccessible, ridges rooflines and eaves etc.

In 2009, Blueprint Surveys worked throughout Scotland, preparing Floor Plans for a leading Property Portfolio and EPC Assessor and issued drawings within a 48 hour window of completing the site work.
